Me and Boba_edited.jpg

My name is Evelyn Soewito and I am a budding Industrial Designer whose passion lies within human-centered design.

From an early age, I found interest in design through art and mechanics. The way function and aesthetics coexists without having to sacrifice one element or the other amazes me. I decided to pursue my career as an Industrial Designer in hopes to design products that would benefit the world while taking empathy into consideration. Furthermore, I enjoy figuring out how things work, which enabled me to develop my problem-solving skills overtime.

My intent as a designer is to create something that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but functional as well through research in ergonomics. I believe in the phrases, “function over form” and “form follows function.” Only after a functional product is made, will form start to matter.

I am excited to design products that solve everyday problems and benefit the world as a whole!
