Why this Theme?

It is simply because I miss the ocean. As someone who is based in Southern California, I often visited the beach. Now that I am in the Bay Area, I seldom visit the beach anymore due to a hectic schedule. Visiting the ocean is like my escape from responsibilities and it is quite liberating to say the least. Given that I love everything about the ocean, I wanted to use the its color theme to represent my nostalgia.

How it was Designed

This SolidWorks bicycle is customized through my own body measurements to get the bicycle geometry in the correct format.

Some sketches of both the saddle and frame were drawn to figure out what shape I planned to pursue in SolidWorks.

The final step was to build my bicycle in SolidWorks after finding the geometry from my measurements and sketching the form.
